About Dr. Abida Hasan

Dr. Abida Hasan completed Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she served as chief rheumatology fellow in her final year. Dr. Hasan was the first woman to receive the prestigious Dr. Douglas Mund Award by the Department of Rheumatology at SUNY Downstate, recognizing her exceptional aptitude and dedication to the field of rheumatology. 

After her rheumatology training, she joined the Department of Rheumatology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno, as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine. Dr. Hasan values evidence-based care and has conducted research leading to publications in multiple scientific journals. 

She is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care to patients and is valued for her excellent bedside manner, compassion and superior clinical expertise.
